LAX AGAINST LEUKEMIA
The Joey Powers Leukemia Project is excited to kick off the inaugural Lax Against Leukemia pre-season high school lacrosse tournament. The tournament will take place on February 7 at the Moore Athletic Complex at Turner Fields on the Saint Stephen's Episcopal School campus in Bradenton, Florida. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit The Joey Powers Leukemia Project.
This tournament will feature some of the top talent the state has to offer, showcasing high school teams from across Florida. The ladies' games will begin a full day of lacrosse in the morning, and the boys will follow in the afternoon, wrapping up that evening. All participants Saturday will receive a tournament t-shirt. Parents and spectators will be able to participate in prize raffles, browse vendor merchandise, and enjoy refreshments at the concession area.
